A short guide to the South of France
Hi Everyone! I was looking through my old pictures from the South of France and decided to share with you one of my best and most memorable trips to Côte D’azur. One of my thoughts when I saw these photos was how much I miss my long hair and I have to grow it back.
It was just two years ago before my move to sunny Los Angeles California. After 3 months of non-stop studying before our finals at University, my girlfriend Anastasia and I decided to go on vacation to the French Riviera to celebrate the end of our studying. I remember the many times we stayed at the library till midnight during the 2 months before final exams. And I kind of miss it. But, lets get back to our journey to France.
South of France is very touristy, but not to the same extent as a Paris. July and August are the most crowded months. We went there in the beginning of July and it wasn’t that bad. Our first destination was Nice and I wasn’t impressed with the city. I found it a little bit dirty and unattractive. But we spent 2 days there and it was more than enough. This place is a day-trip destination. After one night in Nice we got an express to Cannes and I knew from the beginning that I loved it. It was a lot of fun and we met a lot of nice, friendly people. The beach is very nice there; we spent most of our time at Bâoli Beach Cannes.
As our trip was spontaneous, we didn’t plan which place would be next . We just got to the station and got a ticket to Saint Tropez. St Tropez is a summer home of famous, rich and beautiful people. Night life is crazy there during summer. It is about a lot of fun, boat parties and clubbing. With all this night life Saint Tropez is a very beautiful place. Everything is so small and old. We walked around the city twice in one day.
Our last stop was Monaco a very nice and small city. The main attractions are Monte-Carlo Casino and Opera House. Monaco is famous with upscale hotels, designer boutiques, luxury yachts, and restaurants. Monaco’s wealthiest district is Monte-Carlo and it is the most crowded touristic attraction. Both of our nights out we spent in Buddha bar. I like that place a lot, beautiful design, nice people, good food, great atmosphere. People watching is always a must at Bhudda bar. It is the place to see and be seen in Monaco. Dress to impress I say!
